HCU Language Center
The Language Center is on the 4th story of the Library building and commands a panoramic view of SEIFUSHINTO, Western Hillside District Town in Hiroshima. The center is open for our students' full utilization. We provide a rich selection of language learning materials reflecting students' voices.

About Us
Hiroshima City University was established in 1994 and the Language Center has been a core facilities of the university since that time. With the evolution of the computer and the internet, the classroom systems and equipment have been evolving through many changes to this date. Taking advantage of the favored environment of the center, Intensive English Training on the Web or IETW developed by some of the faculty members, was first launched as an extra curricular program and is now part of the official language curriculum.
